My name is Wyman Brent. I was born in Lynchburg, Virginia and spent 20 years living in San Diego working as a book salesman, library volunteer and artist before I founded the Vilnius Jewish Public Library in Lithuania in 2011. It is the first Jewish public library since the liquidation of the Vilna Ghetto in 1943.

My artwork includes ready-mades, found art and abstract paintings as well as functional art such as lamps and clocks.

I currently reside in Kiel, Germany with my wife Andrea Oberheiden-Brent, a documentary filmmaker/editor, and our son.
